Introduction

RT870 is an embedded design 2d barcode reader for all kinds of kiosk, self-service, and ticketing terminals; it is outstanding for its high-speed motion tolerance (>2m/s) and capacity to decode almost all types of bar codes, including QR code, Aztec, MaxiCode, Data Matrix, PDF417, EAN code, etc.

It automatically detects and reads bar codes with USB-HIDUSB-Virtual Com, and RS232 interfaces.

This RT870 performs excellent bar code reading from cell phone screens and paper. Designed for embedded use, it is suitable for all kinds of Kiosk, ATMs, ticket terminals, turnstiles, and medical devices, such as Ticket vending machines, Access control gates & turnstiles, Transportation (ticketing of buses, metro…), Loyalty cards; Car park ticket machines.
