Specially designed for close-distance 2d QR/DM and common bar code reading. This "short distance" is valuable for small devices or any narrow space bar code reading. For example: for some medical devices, the bar code is sticked on test tubes or bags and required to be read inside the device at a close range. Then this RT218-SD can be the ideal choice.

The short-distance barcode scanner module

The RT218-SD adjusted the focus to capture codes from a shorter distance than standard scanning. For example, for a 5*5mm QR code, the RT218-SD can read it as close as 1.8cm. It is perfect to be embedded in devices with limited & small space, or any devices by which you hope the bar code to be read at a very close distance.

Integration Accessories

To facilitate our customer integration, we provide Screws, Flat cables, Connectors, USB/RS232 EVK (We also call it development kit board) and their schematic. But they are all optional, you can tell our sales people do you need them or not when you place order.

Control the barcode scan module by commands

For example, we can control the scanner's read/illumination... by sending commands to the scanner. We provide a detailed introduction to let you know how to do the command control. Ask our people to get full documents.

Setting Codes Programming

To program/ setup the scanner module, you can just simply do it by setting codes from the User manual we provide. Remember to read the "Enter setup" code when you begin to setup. Please ask our salespeople for the full detailed user manual.
